After a record-breaking heat wave, today is a genuinely nice day here in Minnesota. Everyone is outside enjoying the weather – even music educators! Imagine sitting beneath a beautiful shade tree, enjoying a gentle breeze, while grading your students’ performances. Huh?
Coinciding with the break in the weather, today we released the SmartMusic Inbox, a mobile app that provides music educators an alternative means to access and grade student assignments. Teachers can view how many notes their students performed correctly, hear a recording of each performance, assign a grade, and provide comments. Best of all they can do all of this anytime and anyplace!
While we can’t guarantee comfortable temperatures or the gentle breeze, we have made it easy to review and comment on your students’ work wherever you choose to be: The SmartMusic Inbox app is free for all current SmartMusic subscribers and is available now for Android and Apple smart phones, as well as Apple’s iPad and iPod Touch. Learn more on the Inbox webpage.
If you own one of these devices, and are using SmartMusic’s gradebook feature, please try it out and let us know what you think by clicking on “Comments” below.
